Following from my post yesterday about $1 Nuggets from McDonalds. Guess what I woke up to this morning??
$1 Mee Goreng from a nearby prata shop! I hope their offers keep coming, wouldn't mind trying new stuff from around the neighbourhood at just $1. Mind you, this even includes the delivery fee! After I saw the advertisement by Grab, i sent a photo to all my friends, and they too, took up the quick $1 offer ahaha. Brunch settled!!
This time round, the Mee Goreng was really quite spicy, but tasty. My grandparents couldn't believe that I managed to get it at $1 and I told them it was a promotion. They tried it as well, and also said that it was pretty spicy, but delicious.
I'm not sure if Grab is trying to gain back some customers after some weeks of negative publicity, but I do hope this continues for an extended period of time! I haven't actually used the grab app, or any other ride hailing app for quite a while though...
