I woke up this morning at 7:30am, even though I dont have to be anywhere. After trying unsuccessfully to go back to sleep, i decided to get up and have breakfast.
I grabbed mini bagels and toasted them. Then my struggle started. What do I want to put on my bagel this morning?
I usually just put Nutella on them since I am always rushing out the door. But not today, I had time.
So I decided to get a little bit of everything! :)
I love Nutella, so that could not be missing! Then I got my Gouda cheese, the only cheese I like, and put some on another half of the bagel. I also had a taste for strawberries, we would do that often in Holland either strawberries or sliced banana. Yummy! And last, but certainly not last, I got paté de hígado de cerdo (paté, similar to foie gras) imported from Spain. My dad brought it over on his last trip.
Then of course, my coffee to eat this all with. It was all delicious and now I am full.

My wife makes those, I am almost zero on cooking. Before marriage my mom took care of cooking (though I did cook when I used to work away from home in a nearby city). After marriage I immigrated here in Canada and now either my wife or my mom cook for the whole family.
If you need the recipe I can ask my wife and let you know!
