You most likely heard that carrots are good for your eyesight. But there are other products that can maintain eye health. The principle that underlies nutrition for the eyes is very simple: you need to eat as much as possible foods containing vitamins A, C and E.
Greenery
Cabbage, spinach and lettuce contain a large amount of lutein and zeaxanthin. These antioxidants help protect the retina from destruction and prevent the development of cataracts.
Blueberries
This berry is rich in vitamin C, which protects against the development of cataracts. Blueberries help to maintain visual acuity, relieve eye fatigue after watching TV and working with a computer. Therefore, it is especially good for office workers.
Eggs
Like greens, eggs contain eye-friendly antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin. The composition of eggs also includes zinc, which is necessary to reduce the risk of macular degeneration.
A fish
