Hello everybody.

 Preparations for Easter continues. I suggest you a recipe for our Easter cake.

Ingredients:

  • Milk 0.5 liters
  • Yeast - 50 g
  • Yolks - 5 pcs.
  • Margarines - 100 gr
  • Butter - 100 gr
  • Sugar - 1,5 cups
  • Cognac (vodka) - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp. L.
  • Raisins - 200 gr
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • vanilla
  • Flour 1.5 - 2 kg

1. Preparing the sponge. Yeast dilute 1 skl.moloka, add 1 tbsp. Sugar and flour, so that the dough was like a thick sour cream. Put in a warm place at 2:00.

2. Yolks to grind with sugar, pour in a little warm milk, salt.

Margarine and butter melt, gradually mixed with yolks. The mixture is poured into a spoon, mix thoroughly. Add vanilla and raisins.

3. Pour the flour and knead for 20-30 minutes. Add oil when batching. Put the dough in a warm place. After 2 hours, again, re-mix.

4. When it is suitable (1.5 or 2 hours), decompose the fat of the mold into 1/3 of the height. 

When the dough in fotormi grows by 2/3, grease with egg white and bake in a preheated oven for 40-50 minutes about a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.

5. Garnish with egg white and colored powder.
