Spondias dulcis or Ambarella also goes by June plum and Golden plum. It is a tropical plant native to Melanesia and Polynesia that is fast-growing reaching upwards of 60 ft. Spondias dulcis produces small, inconspicuous white flowers in terminal panicles bearing oval fruits, 2 to 3 inches long in bunches of 12 or more on a long stalk and can weigh up to 1 lb.
