In my previous mushroom post, I posted about a poisonous fungi, so this time I will write about edible ones.
The species is Volvopluteus gloiocephalus, and it grows in many places in the world, usually in deserted fields but also farmed fields where wheat or cotton grew the year before.
At first, the young mushrooms look like tiny white or grayish balls coming out of the ground, but they open up into a classic umbrella-like mushroom:
These nice shroomies can be identified by their scent of a fresh, humid field, and their gooey top, and they are edible through all stages of growth.
It is recommended to gently peel the top to avoid cooking them with the gooey part.

Thanks :) I know how to recognize 3 edible kinds, but this specific one I can't eat - my stomach gets irritated by them, and its sad because they are the tastiest :)
