As I promised, here is one of my favorite recipes, you should try it !!
Pineapple Cake
Ingredients:
-500 grams of Flour
-4 Claras beaten to the point of snow
-4 Yolks
-250 grams of sugar
-250 grams of Butter
-1 tsp. Vanilla
-2 cts Baking powder
-50 ml of Milk or Pineapple JuiceFor the Caramel
½ cup Butter
1 cup of Brown Sugar (use White Sugar if you do not have one)
Pineapple or pineapple slices in syrupPreparation:
-Reheats the oven to 170 degrees Celsius
-In the same mold where you are going to bake the cake, melt the Butter.
-Add the Brown Sugar evenly and then place the slices of Pineapple. You can add Cherries to the center of each slice. Reservation.
-For the cake, mix the dry ingredients in a cup, flour and baking powder and sieve them
-In a separate bowl, add the sugar, butter and yolks until it is creamy and gradually add the flour mixture with the baking powder.
-Incorporates Milk and Vanilla.
-Finally, add the egg whites previously whipped to snow and mix in an enveloping form to prevent the mixture from getting off.
-Add the mixture in the previously caramelized mold and with the pineapple slices. Pour a little to avoid that Pineapple slices move.Take the preheated oven to 170 degrees Celsius for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes in, come out clean.
-Remove and let cool for a few minutes before dismantling.
-Decorate with Cherries in syrup or with the topping of your choice.
