🍡 Time To Get Artsy! 🍢

What goes into the making of an all around satisfying meal? Certainly flavor & aroma play a major part, but before you even take the first bite, what is it that first feasts upon your dish? YOUR EYES. Those two beautifully sparkling orbs are the first things to scan & analyze your meal before your taste buds ever even touch it. So why don't we take the extra time to make our meal more appealing to our vision?

I know there are plenty of people out there besides myself who have noticed that when they go the extra mile to make their plate "pretty," not only does it seem tastier & more organized, but it's also more filling to the stomach. Yet on the other side of the coin, when the food is just piled on with no planning or design, it may not be as fulfilling overall.

I noticed this even more recently since starting my total lifestyle change (calorie counting, exercise, weight loss) on August 21'st of this year. Since I've had to limit how much and what I eat, I've been more "artsy" with the plates I make for myself. It seems when I take a little extra time to do so, I tend to give myself smaller portions, eat my plate a little slower & don't find myself wanting to snack between meals. Who would've thought that something so simple could make such a difference? Try it for yourself! God Bless!IMG_1939.JPG
