I took my parents to Olinda tea house in Mount Dandenong today for lunch. It was 35 degrees so I wanted to go up the mountain to avoid the heat. At the restaurant, the service was nice and the space was very good.
We ordered 3 dishes to share. The beef shank was picture perfect and very tender. The eggplant with garlic was a bit spicy. It went well with rice. The signature pork belly was my favourite. The portions are very generous.
We had a lovely day but it was still very hot even though we were under the trees after lunch.
