Add Avocados to your meals.

One of the most delicious super foods is the avocado.

Creamy and mushy, packed full with more nutrients per ounce than any other fruit or vegetable. Heart healthy fatty acids, fiber that improves digestion, its proven to reduce cholesterol and with more potassium than bananas it’s ideal to help moderate your blood pressure.

Eating avocados are easy because they are so delicious on their own but when you add them to another delicious dish it enhances any healthy diet. I will just dig right into this mouthwatering fresh meal and try not to eat it all in one bite.

I cooked and prepped this Avocado Steak Dinner in 20 mins. I lazied out on making guacamole which I also have a tasty recipe for; I’ll tell you about in another post. Its brand name store bought salsa but hey, it’s delicious just go with the brand you like most. Salsa is also healthy and loaded with cancer fighting ingredients. Grilled gloves of garlic to keep the vampires at bay.

I bought imported Canadian beef steak I stumbled upon while shopping downtown Dalian. Not the easiest thing to find in China. Australian and New Zealand meats and milk are the standard imports. China banned importing US beef more than decade ago though beef trade is set to reopen soon according to Bloomberg. A little salt and pepper cooked on high heat in a frying pan constantly being flipped to make it tender. Thin sliced to make it easier to eat.

Nachos on the side served right on the cutting board because bachelor life has it perks too.

Avocados are literally a replacement for stuff like Mayo these days for me in sandwiches. Super healthy, very tasty! Their only draw back is its oftentimes tough to find one perfectly ripe.

yes ripe ones aren't easy to find. A tip I learned when I worked in Japanese restaurant was to put bright green under ripened avocados deeply buried in a bag of rice a day later or so its perfect.

Nice, I'll have to give it a shot. Kind of like when you put an iPhone in a bag of rice an asian man comes and fixes it while you sleep.

delicious!

I love avocados, especially since I'm vegetarian again. My only problem with them is how hard it is to find good ones where I am. Every time I go to a market they aren't ripe. I live in California where they grow them. You think the farms are just pumping them out before they are ready?

yea they probably are. they may also be making more money sending them out of state so the better ones might hit the road. I'm in China avocados here are pricey, equal to about $6us usually and that's a lot for the average Chinese person. Not easy to find either but when I do they usually from Mexico or south east asia.
