Hello, Steemians!

Are you having a good day? It's about 12am, sunday in Korea. What time is it in your country? Today, I wanna share my experience about having 'Korean style Grilled pork Belly in Japan' with y'all ! After living in Japan for the exchange student about 3 months or something, I got a little bit tired of Japanese food and wanted to eat decent korean food. So I visited this place, which is located in Shin okubo, Tokyo, which is Korean town in Tokyo.

The interior of this place doesn't seems like.. Korean style actually, nor Japanese, It's more like Chinese style interior I guess LOL
( Meanwhile, ↖ this man here, is Jang Keun-Suk, renowned Korean actor haha. I guess he's been here before. )

When you take a seat, and make your order, you can see all sorts of 'friends of Korean grilled pork belly' coming. Amazing, isn't it? THIS IS KOREAN STYLE! HAHA
( Sorry about that, there are perilla leaves, lettuce, bean sprouts, sliced and pickled daikon(Asian radish), etc)

Anyway, you wait a while, then waiter comes to grill our pork. Erm.. excuse me? What is this little piece of onion for? Hello? Even if I'm a 100% Korean, I couldn't figure out what is it for.

And here comes the pork belly. Can you see that? the clear scarletness of my pork? That's gonna be my beautiful fluffy chubby belly tonight!

And I was quite impressed since the waiter grilled our pork once and for all. We didn't need to raise a finger. Oops, I forgot. I'm in Japan! The country of KINDNESS! Thank you for your kindness : )

After finishing pork belly, it is a common rite of passage to eat ramen or Doenjjang jjigae( bean paste stew ). We gotta know that : ) So we ordered a bowl of Korean ramen, which was quite good too.

Although we enjoyed the meal very happily, the price was quite expensive as a Korean grilled pork belly. It was about 10,000 yen( about 87USD)

So, this is the end of my food story today. Hope you enjoyed my article. Please remember to hit the voting button if you enjoyed it, and I'll be back with more interesting, funny restaurant review. Thanks!
