McDonald's is among the leaders in crap food industry and a junk food outlet. The clown personality recognized it called Ronald McDonald. While Wal Mart is a discount merchant. McDonald's is known while Wal Mart is among the largest retailers in the world, branding and its stock is traded in international stock exchanges. Sam Walton founded wal Mart, he started a discount store in 1950 known as Walton's Five and Dime. A Ben Franklin store in Arkansas operated and he continued assessing the shop.

This became the first Wal Mart branded store. Donald's brand in1940. Their restaurant was reinvented by them after they noticed the burgers were their item. Similarly, Wal Mart owned 6775 shops around the globe by the end of 2006 and it'd over 2 million employees. It generated nearly $350 billion of annual sales. Both companies are famous and well known business around the globe although more improvements in their brand will be more beneficial for them. And also the departmental store.
