A Domino’s pizza fail has caused quite a stir on social media. Twitter user Georgia Holmes ordered the £4.99 (US$6.99) ‘Lotta-Chocca Pizza’, which is part of the Domino’s dessert menu and comes with milk chocolate served on six-inch fresh dough.
Holmes ordered the gooey, chocolatey pizza to be delivered straight to her front door—but it turned up looking nothing like how it was advertised. Instead, the dessert came with several measly chocolate slices, seated atop a very misshapen base.
She took to Twitter to rant her disappointment, with the caption, “Talk about being catfished. Fuming with Dominos_UK never ordering again.”
Domino’s recognized its mistake and quickly issued an apology. A Domino’s spokesperson said, “It would appear that Ms. Holmes’ pizza moved within its box whilst on delivery, for which we apologize. We have offered Ms. Holmes a complimentary order as a good will gesture, which she has accepted.”
