In my experience, a looooong resting period helps. Like, leave that baby somewhere cool/in the fridge overnight. This will help give it some strength so you can at least slightly shape it into what size blobs you want. Also don't expect to knead it like you would with doughs with less moisture in them, you basically mix it as best you can, then just fold it over on itself periodically. Let time and the yeast do the work for you.
