Yeah, McDonalds food does have some nasty ingredients, but most processed foods these days are very bad for you. I hope they haven't tampered too much with the the coffee, because that's all I want when I go to McDonalds.

The problem is, that making decent french fries at home is not so easy and expensive. Especially if its only a small portion, for 1 or 2 people.
But in a good restaurant - not those fast food joints - you can get good fries still.
