In these bizarre times we live in,eating gold has become a trend even if it doesn't actually add any taste or texture to a meal. This time the award of indecent luxury goes to New York restaurant,Industry Kitchen for its gold pizza, 24K. Dripping with 24 karat gold flakes, the decadent dish is topped with some of the world’s priciest foods including fantail prawns, Ossetra caviar, lobster, foie gras and white truffle oil.
It comes with a whooping price of $2000(1.3 lakh rupees). Industry Kitchen brags "simple yet flavorfully prepared dishes" is situated in South Street Seaport right by Manhattan’s finance district where all the most unnecessarily rich people are found.
It's actually the location that inspired the restaurant’s chef Braulio Bunay who says that “It is the epitome of decadence. The pizza is extremely rich—if you’re in the mood for a lavish meal, this is the pizza for you.”
