Rice And Curry Dish Review At Food Lanna In The Maya Lifestyle Mall - Chiang Mai, Thailand

My morning walk started a bit late and I remembered there was a lunch place that I saw at the Maya lifestyle mall in Chiang Mai, and since I was hungry I thought it would be a good place to have lunch.

The food court is on the top floor and I think it's called Food Lanna:

They I looked at the menu and decided to order the rice and curry which was in the local Thai Baht currency 50 units but converted in Steem it was around 1.8 STEEM. Unfortunately they would not take STEEM (Give it some time). Here's what I paid with:

So while I was waiting the lady who put the greens and curry on th e plate left. After a few minutes I went to the counter to see what was going on to discover they where nuking the curry and the greens in the microwave so I'll have to give:

The plate finally arrived and here is what it looks like:

The presentation was pretty good even that it did not come with chopsticks and even after I asked for them they said they don't have it. I looked around and found them myself. Just FYI. Since it did look nice on the plate I'll give for the presentation:

The curry was not very spicy. In fact it was a bit bland. The meat was some kind of river fish and it was very good.

The rice was also very good and a bit sticky. I liked the rice.

The greens that the lady nuked where not that great nor was the meat which I think was beef. I think this is the first time ever that I had fish with beef in the same plate. I guess I'll say it was edible but nothing spectacular.

The curry also had some kind of vegetable that I never ate and it was very good. I enjoyed it. I wish I knew what it was. I'll give the mystery vegetable:

So the final tally is 5 happy aliens minus 1 sad alien equals:

4 happy aliens

And for just 1.8 STEEM that was a pretty good lunch deal. So that is my final verdict for the rice and curry dish. What do you think and do you know what the greens and that yellow vegetable where?

I'm leaving Chiang Mai, Thailand on the 27th of May and will try to find some better meals to share with you.
