Schrimp and jalapeño, local lamb, fish and rhubarb dessert. What a meal!
This weekend I wanted to treat myself with a good dinner, and celebrate the fact that I've turned 30.
I decided to to Tango in Stavanger, Norway. A restaurant in the harbor in the middle of the city.
I invited a friend of mine, and we had their five course dinner.
The service was great, the wine was good and I love the fact that the menu is changing all the time, and adapting to the local produce is season.
You guys know how much I love food, so I would call this the perfect weekend!
If you're ever in Stavanger, make sure you visit this gem of a restaurant. They have a restaurant, a bar where you can eat in a more laidback style and a rooftop terracce with an amazing view.
On their website they describe their restaurant as rough fine dining, and I'd agree with that.

OM jeg har vært på Egget? Det er etter min mening den beste restauranten i Stavanger. Det var en opplevelse utenom det vanlige. Kan virkelig anbefales.
Tango var også bra da. Veldig fin plass og kjekk utsikt fra takterassen der.

Looks like an amazing meal... I think my all time best meal was in Nobu in London quite some years ago ... the food was stunning only downside was that the restaurant does 3 seetings every evening so it was slightly stressing to have to finish fast as we were a little late for the reservation ... back then there were only a few Nobu restaurants now there are many more around the world
