    Pollack is the most affordable sea fish here. Fish fingers and much other deep frozen fish is Pollack, it makes about 80% of the fish sold in total, I guess.

      A good option. We have the most popular fish -herring.

        Hering is pretty popular here, too. But its better when pickeled or similar, not as fish for frying. Makarel also, and smoked as well.
        I live about 400 km away from the next coast, so it not so easy to get good fresh fish. Frozen is usually the better option here.
