From my limited time in Turkey, I could already tell that the people are accepting and very kindhearted, that is multiplied by the fact they live in one of the most beautiful regions of the middle east and are very proud of their multi faceted history.

I come from a place where until very recently, people thought very negatively about us, it is just a matter of perception and cultural acceptance. This is why I tend not listen or care about what the media says about places.
