My Journey to Becoming Cooking Ninja - Lambada

in food •  8 years ago

Hello, Steemians!

For today, we have another amazing chocolate sweet and creamy cake that you're gonna love. It's called Lambada just like that Brazilian dance. It's easy and straightforward when it comes to preparing. Here's what you're gonna need.

Ingredients:

  • 600 ml of milk
  • 7 tablespoons of corn starch
  • 300 g of sugar
  • 120 g of butter
  • 500 ml of orange soda
  • 60 g of vanilla pudding
  • Biscuit
  • 150 g of chocolate

Separate 200 grams of milk and mix 7 tablespoons corn starch in it. Pour the remaining amount of milk in a saucepan, add 150 grams of sugar and let it boil. After it boils, add mixed corn starch and cook for about 5 minutes with constant whisking and then let it cool off.

After it's cooled off add about 120 grams of butter and mix everything together once again.

For the second filling separate 200 ml (about 1 cup) of orange soda, and mix 60 grams of vanilla pudding in it. Pour the remaining soda in a saucepan, add 150 grams of sugar and let it boil.

After it boils, add mixed pudding i cook for another 5 minutes with constant stirring. Let it cool off. After it's cooled off, use mixer to whisk it nicely.

Drench the biscuit of your choice in a juice, milk or syrup and lay it down in a saucer. Spread the white filling over it first, and then the yellow pudding.

For the chocolate topping mix 150 grams of chocolate, 5 tablespoons of water and 1 teaspoon of butter. Mix everything on the heat until it's unified and liquid. Spread it on top of our cake.

It's done. Wait for it to cool down a bit and you can slice it in cubes and add nuts on top of it for decoration.

Enjoy!
