Pimp your cookies! Okay, ordinarily cookies are already treat enough... but if you needed to make them go further or wanted to turn a cheap pack of cookies into something more substantial, here's the foolproof way!

For those of us who consider their skills in the kitchen to be rather limited, or those who are just looking for an easy to make treat - then these are for you!

You'll start off by choosing your favourite Cookies and grinding them to dust, this is going to be your 'flour' for the Chewy Cookie Bars.

The Cookie dust is then mixed with Condensed Milk and Peanut Butter to form a paste and spread across the bottom of a lined cake tin or flan dish.

Baked in the oven for 20 minutes, then sprinkled with a mixture of dark and white chocolate and given an extra 2 minutes back in the oven.

Give the now melted chocolate a little mix together (less mixing is more here and gives you a lovely swirl effect on the top) and level to completely cool before cutting into squares.

Honestly, this Cookie Bar is so good but also so easy to make - it always comes out perfectly and you can mix the Cookie flavours up to suit you mood.

To make around 24 bars you'll need:
320g Cookies
397g / 1 Tin Condensed Milk
60g Peanut Butter
165g Chocolate drops
Some white chocolate to add for decoration (optional!)

You can follow along as I make it here in this video recipe.

Big hugs
Sacha xx
