Hi Steemians,
Been a while I’ve participated in a photography contest, I think maybe today I’ll join one. I was craving Poke today and couldn’t find it anywhere in the shopping center I was at for lunch. Poke is rarely sold in Sydney unless you go to specific restaurants unlike you can get them anywhere in Hawaii. On our recent trip to Fiji, I was able to have Poke regularly at the resort which now I wish I can always find a place in Sydney that sells them.

Finding Poke is a matter of knowing where it is already (there's a place in the alley out of World's Square that comes out next to Arisun that does something that I think is like Poke, and another place down in the basement food court in the Galleries that seems similar) but I don't think either of them specifically call their dishes Poke.
Finding Good Poke is even harder, and I really would like to have some actual good Poke that is how it should be without having to leave Sydney...

ohhhh i haven't been ner Arisun for awhile but will check it out. There is actually one at North Sydney train station and we get them delivered via uber eats for lunch if we are desperate hahahahaha.

Yup, the two I’ve tried are: flower child cafe - the best, and the cafe at the concourse - it changed name forgot what it’s called now, used to be lid and jar

oh yes you are correct - flower child does have poke and it was not bad. The concource one I need to suss out cos we normally go there for ramen or the bento place close by.
