one of the things I'm passionate about is sustainably grown food that can provide abundance for the world. Permaculture design has proven itself time and time again, when we follow the mechanics of nature and align ourselves with this process we can have food forests for everyone. In the future living anywhere on earth will be possible thanks to permaculture. The best part about permaculture design is it is all organic, which means no nasty chemicals. We don't have to poison ourselves and the planet and we can be healthy.
So here is an example in the desert, It's an understatement on how powerful it is knowing that we could create food nearly anywhere on the planet.
"Sh. Hassan Elsetohy and Geoff Lawton are in Wadi Rum, Jordan, proving the impossible by establishing a sustainable paradise in one of the driest deserts in the middle east. "
Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton have been leading this movement. Unfortunately, Bill Mollison recently passed away this year but the effects he has had on this earth will never be forgotton, I encourage anyone to look more into these topics so we can be empowered together!
I am living on a property called starseed gardens and It has a food forest being grown there as we speak.
here is a view of the place from a hill, which used to be a piggery now it's being turned into an earth school.
If you believe in sustainable living upvote share and let the whole world know of this amazing undervalued system.
Great post. The idea is to spread the word. I am growing food forests here in Colombia. Keep farming my friend!

Very nice. I'm looking into having a vegetable garden when I get my own place.

A great permaculture effort is underway outside Oaxaca, Mexico. Volunteers from all over the world are coming together to make it happen.
Hard, but fulfilling, work!

Wow, this is really amazing, to say the least.
I'm wondering, would permaculture work in climates where it is cold year round?

When it comes to the cold it seems to be the only exception as far as I know. Makes me want to research it :).

Revolutionary nonetheless!
Thanks for sharing this, I'll definitely be looking into permaculture more in depth.
Seems like something that can really benefit the lives of many people.
