Easy Vegan Ricecooker Dinner

Hey guys, I made dinner tonight, and you might already know that I like to use my rice cooker, it cost $20 and I've had it for almost 4 years without a problem!

So I always start by putting the rice in, I made 2 dry cups worth tonight for my wife and I. I threw a raw tomato on top, added water to the line, added a can of garbanzo beans and threw in some frozen broccoli. Also added some curry powder and no salt seasoning. I the covered the lid.

I heard the pop about 35-40 minutes later so I knew it was done. I went over and added a can of diced tomatoes (no salt added) and unplugged the rice cooker. The tomatoes will get hot just sitting in there while it's unplugged. I usually wait about ten minutes for the food to cool down slightly, as it's hot. Then I uncovered the rice cooker and dug in.

I used a sourdough cracker called Wasa which is from Sweden (I had no idea).

Nice healthy vegan meal to round off the day.

I really enjoy using the rice cooker as it's so simple, you just throw in whatever you want with some water and you don't have to worry stuff burning because it automatically shuts off when a certain temperature is reached which usually happens when there's not much water in the pot (causing the temperature to rise).

Hope you enjoyed! I know we did!
