Today we tried an Asiago cheese with Rosemary & Olive Oil from Trader Joe's. This semi-hard cheese has a nutty, sweet flavor with a wonderful scent of rosemary. Creamy, slightly naughty and wonderful with grapes or dried cranberries and definitely a show piece on any cheeseboard.
Another cheese we tried is a Triple Creme Brie cheese, also from Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's seriously has the best cheeses for a very reasonable price, with most cheeses less than $12/lb. This triple creme brie cheese lives up to its name and has a velvety, luxuriously, melt-in-your-mouth feel. Brie tastes the best when it is slightly runny and when I bought this cheese, it was already at this stage so YUM, I didn't have to wait for it to bloom. Serve it with crusty French baguette slices and apricot preserves and you're in HEAVEN.
