Embotido

Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'll be showcasing a special Filipino dish usually served during Christmas season. Embotido is a type of meatloaf with a bunch of ingredients thrown in to make a giant beast of flavors. The ingredients are usually ground pork, chicken, and maybe even beef, others include hotdogs or sausages, tomato sauce, hard boiled eggs and raw eggs (to bind the meatloaf), sweet pickles, cheddar or any type of cheese, bell peppers, raisins (although I hate including raisins in any type of dish), carrots, onion, bread crumbs, and your usual condiments like salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and more. It is really flavorful and what really shines in this dish is the cheese because it adds a bit of creamy texture to the mix which elevates it even further.
