Patatas a la riojana / Potatoes Riojana's style

Este fin de semana mi mujer preparó unas patatas a la riojana y las hizo según una receta de su madre. Mi suegra nos las hacía con frecuencia. Es un plato muy sencillo que está riquísimo.

Ingredientes:
5 Patatas
Un Pimiento verde
Una Cebolla 2 ñoras
Un Chorizo asturiano fresco (no muy duro)
Una cabeza de ajos.
Pimentón dulce y/o picante, según prefieras.
1 hoja de laurel
Sal
Agua.
Aceite

Simplemente hay que rehogar una cabeza de ajos junto con una cebolla y un pimiento verde troceados.
Cuando están hechos, se añaden las patatas, el chorizo, las ñoras, el pimentón, la hoja de laurel y el agua. Se deja hervir hasta que las patatas estén blandas.
Como todos los guisos, está mejor si se come al día siguiente.
Es un plato riquísimo, sencillo y con fundamento.
Típicamente español que, si lo acompañas con un buen vino tinto, está para chuparse los dedos.

This weekend my wife prepared some Rioja potatoes and made them according to a recipe from her mother. My mother-in-law did it to us frequently. It is a very simple dish that is delicious.

Ingredients:
5 Potatoes
A green pepper
One Onion
2 ñoras
A cool Asturian Chorizo (not very hard)
A head of garlic.
Sweet and / or spicy paprika, depending on your preference.
1 bay leaf
Salt
Water.
Oil

You just have to sauté a head of garlic together with an onion and a green pepper chopped. When they are done, add the potatoes, the chorizo, the ñoras, the paprika, the bay leaf and the water. Let it boil until the potatoes are soft. Like all stews, it is better if you eat the next day. It is a delicious dish, simple and with foundation. Typically Spanish that, if you accompany it with a good red wine, is to suck your fingers.
