Lotus Cafe and Juice Bar - Encinitas, CA - Review

Hello Steemians!

I have an organic cafe and juice bar treat for you! And its only a few blocks from Moonlight beach in Encinitas, CA!

A little back pedal before we dive into the review! Encinitas means 'live oaks' in Spanish and is a little coastal town found 25 miles from Downtown San Diego and 95 miles from Los Angeles.

It is found on a stretch of the old highway that used to connect San Diego to Los Angeles (the 101 Highway). It is dotted with beach shops, boutiques, eateries, even thrift stores and a bazaar! It has retained that old charm and weaved in the new. It's an interesting mix of modern and old.

Lotus Cafe and Juice Bar opened its doors in 2009 and is owned and run by a spiritual couple who wanted to bring vegan and vegetarian options to the community. They do offer non-vegetarian options and gluten free!!!

So I decided to check it out for you all!

I wasn't disappointed!

Espresso milkshake -- am such a sucker for them (has to be the works!)

And the Artichoke Pesto Chicken!

I went to order and explored more....

The glutton ordered her food....

What a delight - look at this....

I chose my utensils and condiments....

I wasn't done yet...... dessert was in order....oh yes!

I ordered the chocolate cupcake and that was also gone in short order!!!

I had a great time!
