Exactly when you think you have seen each banana merienda in the whole Philippines...
I was hanging out in Cuyo on Sunday and a well disposed neighborhood came up to me with this interesting looking tidbit! It was sold outside the congregation and at first looked like pizza batter with bunches of tomato sauce... be that as it may, it unquestionably wasn't!
IT WAS "COMBO!"
Meagerly cut bananas are blended with powdered rice and atsuete seeds (which give it the redness), at that point are seared in coconut oil. Indeed, it resembles a banana pizza, yet laid out on a banana leaf! What I truly delighted in about this merienda...
it wasn't sweet! You truly get the banana taste... in spite of the fact that more one of a kind in surface.
