Spinach is really good for one's health. Some of its health benefits include, preventing osteoporosis, strokes and cancer. It strengthens your muscles and your cardiovascular system. Its helpful with digestion and oral health. Its good for brain health and maintaining normal blood pressure. It is also good for the skin, as it prevents acne and wrinkles. There are many other wonderful benefits that spinach has for you and I would recommend having spinach a part of your diet.
There are many delicious ways to eat spinach. Whether it is cooked with other vegetables or even with meat. My favorite way to have spinach is in the form of cream spinach. It is absolutely delicious. Cream spinach can be eaten on it's own or with spaghetti. I enjoy it on top of a baked potato or even as a side dish with fish or meat. It is one of my favorite foods and can be eaten in many different ways. I will be sharing an excellent recipe on how to prepare cream spinach below:
Ingredients:
- Spinach
- Butter
- Milk
- Salt
- Nutmeg
- Black/ white pepper
- Crushed garlic
- Oil
- Water
- Parmesan
Boil your spinach. In a sauce pan, add oil and crushed garlic and then add butter. Add the milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg and parmesan and cook until it has thickened a bit. Then add spinach and enjoy.
