I don't know what the exact name for this kind of food. In my hometown, it called Jadah, but here in Jakarta it called Uli. But, whatever you named it, whatever you called its still has the same taste. Yes, it tasted like HEAVEN.
The ingredients:
500 grams of sticky rice
1 coconut
500 ml Water
1 teaspoon Salt
How to make it:
Wash white sticky rice, then soak for about 3-5 hours. The longer the better.
Wash again after soaking. Then steam white glutinous rice for 15 minutes.
Remove from the steamer, then mix the steamed rice glutinous rice with water, grated young coconut and salt. Stir well until smooth. Then steam it back for 15 minutes.
Once cooked remove from the steamer, spread the sticky rice that has been cooked earlier on the container such as winnowing or nyiru who dberi plastic mat. Blend the sticky rice paste until smooth and soft. Puree while the sticky rice is hot.
Prepare a tray that has been given a plastic sheet. Pour the finely ground dough, flatten it out.
Once cool, cut into dough, then it can be served. Can also be fried or baked according to taste.
