Chocolate ice cream

Ingredients
Servings: 8
3/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
60 grams of chocolate semiamargo, chopped
2 cups of whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation mode
Preparation: 10min> Cooking: 10min> Ready in: 20min
Mix the sugar, milk, salt and cocoa in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Let it boil. Place the yolks in a small bowl and add little by little about 1/2 cup of the previous mixture. Pass this mixture to the pan. Heat until it thickens, but do not let it boil. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate, stirring until it has melted. Pour into a cold bowl and refrigerate for about two hours or until it has cooled, stirring occasionally.
When the chocolate mixture is completely cold, add the cream and vanilla. Stir well and pour into a machine to make ice cream. Freeze according to the instructions of the appliance.
