A strategy i use is trying to have the healthy options readily available. Grabbing a carrot over cookies as a snack is much less difficult when i see carrots on the counter ready to eat every time i'm in the kitchen.

It all comes down to individual mindset in the end though. Good luck to you!

thats a good idea. ill put some apples in a bowl and place them on the table... not sure if thatll work... but hey. its a worth a shot

I find that having a healthy habit and a healthy mindset helps out , just move away from generic , mainstream foods and go for the real quality preferably fresh of the garden produce , if you live in a nice country , you might still find people(old grannies ) selling their own produce.

I find it very easy to "judge" food nowdays , I've been eating mostly fruits and vegetables for the past 5 years , albeit I'm still eating cheap bread (here the same applies if you can find freshly baked quality bread that has been made with real flour + link below ) and having coffee and eating animal produce.

My quick tips would be go for real food , preferably not grown in industrial quantity and shipped over , local fresh food beats anything in quality , shop around the nearby villages once a week if you have to. Stop eating any refined sugars or canned foods unless you are surviving. Just go for fresh fruits based on the season , drink lots of water , before eating and eat the fruits before the main dish , try to not make a sack of shit like the pasta cheese salami ULTRA TASTY and chocolate brownies with biscuits afterwards followed by a gallon of water to finish off and go to bed for 2 hours :D .

In summary food is a choice and eating is a habit , be conscious of your choices!
