McDonald’s HACK - why you should always ask for a receipt

MCDONALD’S is one of the UK’s favourite fast food meals - but nothing is worse than a disappointing burger and chips. This hack will help you get the freshest meal every time, a staff member has claimed.

McDonald’s chips, burgers and chicken nuggets are a rare but tasty treat for many Britons.

Now one McDonald’s employee has revealed a secret to help fast food fans get the freshest meal possible.

The employee, who claims to have worked in a London branch of the store for a year, said asking for one simple addition to your meal will make you a priority among other customers.

Employees will cook you the freshest chips and the tastiest burgers in quick time if you ask for a receipt.

Employee Kamran Adan said this is because McDonald’s worker may assume you are a secret shopper if you ask for payment details.

If Britons ask for the receipt at a certain time they are even more likely to get the special treatment.

Kamran Adan told Quora users: “Basically between 12 to 2pm and 5 to 7pm workers have to be extra careful because that is when gapbusters (mystery shoppers), who are paid, visit McDonald’s restaurants and rate their experience.

“This then goes to the overall store rating and every store manager will do everything to ensure this rating is as positive as possible.”

He said: “So, if you ask for a receipt in that time everyone will be immediately alert that you could be a potential gapbuster and they’ll make sure to serve you the freshest burger and fries, and give you priority over everyone else.”

Staff have also told internet users the dish you should never ask for.

They warned that a Filet-O-Fish may not have been kept in the best conditions before it is served to you.

One Reddit user claiming to be a former employee said: “I came here to say this. Seriously. It’s been three years since I worked there but I can promise you that filet of fish is not fresh by any stretch of the imagination.

Another added: “At McDonald’s just say you want a fish filet cooked to order. It will take five more minutes but worth it compared to the filet that has been in the heated cabinet for hours.”

There is another trick that can get you extra toppings on your McFlurry.

For just 20p, plucky McDonald’s customers can enjoy extra sauce, another Oreo cookie, more Crunchie or even more Dairy Milk pieces.

All McFlurry fans have to do is ask their server, and they will be happy to make the addition.
