750 g onion
50 g butter
1/3 cup flour
3 cloves garlic
2 liters of meat broth
250 ml dry white wine
3 bay leaf
Teaspoon dried or fresh thyme
6 slices stale white bread
100 g parmesan cheese
Pinch of salt, ground black pepper

Onions sliced and fried in butter until soft and beautifully circle. Add flour, crushed garlic cloves and fry, stirring constantly for about 3 minutes. Then pour the broth, wine, add the chopped bay leaf, thyme, salt and pepper. Soup cover and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Oven grill white bread fry on both sides for 1-2 minutes. Then add the grated Parmesan and bake until cheese is melted. Serve with baguette.
