Bohol's Delicacies (Kalamay & Peanut Kisses)

Bohol is a province of Cebu in Central Visayas region. It is famous for many things. Tourists visit the province for many reasons, either to see the wonderful "Chocolate Hills"or cuddle the cutest primate ever, the "Tarsier". But among the many things that Bohol has to offer, one should not forget to taste or bring home the some of its signature treats.

The Kalamay and peanut kisses. Kalamay is a sweet sticky delicacy. It is made of coconut milk, brown sugar and glutinous rice. It can also be flavored with margarine, peanut butter or vanilla. While peanut kisses is made of high-quality peanuts and egg whites.

Among the native treats and goodies in Bohol, Kalamay and peanut kisses remains the favorites and the best presents for family and friends.
