Biryani...

So as you have already read the tital. This blog is about one Pakistan’s favourite and one of my favourite dishes know as Biryani. Now Biryani is basically a dish that consists of rice, a huge verity of spices and meat. The meat can vary from chicken to beef etc.
Biryani is a very ancient dish that has been a personal favourite of the muslims of the Indian subcontinent for almost 900 to 800 years. It can to the subcontinent with the invasion of Taimur. A muslim warlord who was the predecessor of the mongols.

So Taimur brought the biryani but you may be asking that where did it got its name right (If your not you should be asking ). The word Biryani is derived from a Persian word "Biryan" which stood for rice (Im talking about the old times).
After a while more and more spices were added and the modern biryani was created in the royal kitchen of the Mughal palace as a dish of luxury. Only for the rich though after a while everyone could afford it.

Ok so fast forward 500 years and now Biryani is a huge hit in Pakistan. Peolpe open Biryani shops and those who cant afford Mcdonald or kfc etc enjoy Biryani and the best part is its way more healthy than a zinger burger and you can get the amount in half the price.
