The dusty cookies are simple preparation and delicious taste, melt in the mouth and are made in these lands since colonial times. They are sweet and great to accompany with coffee or chocolate; they are known all over the country, but those of Caracas and the Andes have their recognition. Do not stop trying them, because it is their simplicity they are a sweet that will catch you with its flavor and consistency. This recipe, which I provide below is simple and I assure you will get some powdery sweeten your palate again and again.

Ingredients
1 Kg. Flour
1/2 Kg of shortening
1/4 Kg. Sugar
Cinnamon to taste
Sugar Glass to decorate

Preparation
First pass the flour, sugar and cinnamon powder through a sieve, then add to this mixture the softened butter and knead until a smooth dough is obtained. There are two ways to mold them, the first extending the dough with a roller until it is one cm thick. and cut them with a glass or round cutter, the second is making small balls and crushing them with the hand giving a rounded shape, as arepitas, place them on a tray and take them to the oven at 350 º until they are golden brown, let cool and sprinkle with sugar Glass when serving
