This is one of the most consumed shellfish in my city because it is easiest to get. The name of these shells is "Kerang Dara". These shells come from the sea, the shells are brownish white, the color of the flesh is orange and ash. You can consume them by simply boiling them or used in various side dishes and vegetable dishes.

Many of the benefits that we get from consuming shellfish as follows:

  1. This shell contains iron that is beneficial to be consumed by someone with low blood pressure to get normal blood pressure back.

  2. Shells contain excellent calcium and minerals to keep bones from osteoporosis when consume regularly.

  3. Shellfish is an excellent source of protein and vitamins that important for our body health.

But for people with cholesterol and uric acid is advised not to consume shellfish because the shells contain high cholesterol.
