"Food Trip at Baguio City"

Hello everyone!

Let us travel around Baguio City for some of the appetizing and distinctive foods that we tried from my recent trip with @meetmysuperego and @youngblogger24.

As a starter, let us all welcome... "Strawberry Taho" it is one of the food trademark you must try and its all around the street so you definitely not having a hard time to find it. We got it in the City center at Burnham Park.

But of course, this one won't let itself to be left behind, the "Strawberry and Wild Berry fresh fruit shakes" of CAFE SABEL at Bencab Museum after hours of our educational exploration of the said museum.

The fruits of these shakes are freshly picked from farm as you can see and taste the real berry bits and savor the natural sweetness. Such perfection for the summer heat of this season.

For lunch, @meetmysuperego got this "Taal Rice", its a combination of rice and smoked fish with salted egg salad. I tried a spoon of this meal and its really appetizing, its has a distinct Pinoy flavor on this dish.

While, @youngblogger24 took a platter of "Chicken Cacciatore" with a very nice plating of their native rice, cucumber and carrots salad, of course the crispy fried chicken fillet with fresh tomato sauce.

I also tasted a bite of this meal, the fresh tomato dip is similar to salsa and its so delightful as it tastes.

And before my meal arrives, I am quite full coz' of eating a portion of their food, lol!
Anyways, I ordered "Cream of Mountain Rice", it has a resemblance to Risotto coz' of creamy Cordillera rice mixed with grinned pork, mushroom, chopped peanuts, fried garlic and garnish with onion leaks. These dish is so flavourlful!

All the foods above are new to me from "Cafe Sabel" but they are all sooo yummy! 😋😋

For early dinner/snacks 😂😂, we hop in Camp John Hay where "Choco-Late de Batirol" is located. This eatery is a special place for Pinoy foods and native delicacies.

We ate the "Pork Sinigang", its so tasty like (lutong bahay) the way your Mom cooked it for you 😋. Its one of my favorite soup.

We also have "Pansit Palabok". What you see is what you get. 😋

"Special Bibingka", tastes like "Christmas!". Haha!

The "Suman sa Lihiya", reminds me of my childhood coz' just same taste how my Grandma made it.

Ugh! This "Hot Chocolate" drink is heavenly! Its the specialty of "Choco-Late de Batirol" from the name itself explains how they prepare this choco drink. Yum!

Another unique experience from our food hunting was trying this one of a kind coffee shop in Albergo Hotel and Residenses called the "Grindosetamp Cafe".

"French Toast" with Ham and Lettuce is good not only for breakfast but also anytime of the day when you feel like eating. 😂😂

"Arrabbiata Con Cordillera Pasta" is a must try also for those who like spicy pasta. Its the cafe's own version of local and Italian Pasta.

And not to forget the amazing selfie coffee, where your photos are printed on the frosting of your coffee whether hot or cold. I got my selfie printed on "Hot Cappuccino".

I want to show you also our first meal on our first day in Baguio, from Arc Residences down on the building just besides our Accommodation at Wharton Tower.

They are both Pinoy foods, with fresh blanched veggies, egg and rice.

Of course the last food that we had at midnight while we are waiting for the boarding time of Victory Liner's Bus going back to Manila... "Special Congee with Century Eggs" good to warm up your stomach for the cold night in the City.

And oh! don't forget to buy "Strawberry Preserved" and "Ube Jam" from Good Shepherd as your pasalubong for your loved ones.
