A native food this afternoon.. kakanin in tagalog: #foodphotography

Hello guys,, while I am searching for an entry for food photography, I had the thinking of making these as my posts for it..

Every afternoon, at about 3 pm onwards, a lady, a vendor can always be at your ears saying.... kakanin kayo dyan.... kakanin kayo dyan.... so this afternoon I'd make a chance to take a picture of what she's selling for merienda. It's biko and sapin sapin so yummy 😋

After I bought 2 pieces of biko and 2 pieces of sapin sapin.. I had in mind to have a coffee ☕️ in combination of the native food I have for merienda. Solved!

What a great snack and happy to tell that I've missed this kind of food during breaks especially during afternoon.

I hope she can come back again with another circular basket or 'bilao' in tagalog, other native food like puto kutsinta, tamales, suman and kalamay. That's what I missed too.
