HOME MADE VANILLA CHEESE CAKE APPLE PIE WITH SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE

Combining my favorite sweet flavours into one dessert seemed a bit crazy but it worked out brilliantly!!!! What a smashing treat!

For this dessert you will need:

- sweet short crust pie dough (the ratio 3/2/1 - flour/cold butter/sugar always works) - blind baked 

- chilled stewed apples with vanilla, sugar and lemon juice for the first layer

- cream cheese, whipped cream, vanilla and sugar for the second layer

- home made salted caramel sauce

- steamed apple slices for the topping
