Once an Italian friend of mine told me that the best recipe for an authentic Italian pizza is the enjoyment of life seasoned with a little bit of happiness, laughter and passion. Well, I have to admit that I totally agree with her. Italian people laugh a lot, have noisy conversations above the dinner table, eat their super-delicious pasta... they know how to live passionately!
According to an anecdote, Sopha Loren once said:
“Everything you see I owe to spaghetti”
We can learn a lot from this Mediterranean lifestyle, enjoying life means longer life, too - as many experimenters revealed. Why don't you put aside your worries and list the things you can be thankful for? I am sure there are a lot of things on your list... Just try to look at the other side of the coin
Did you have a super-shitty day at work? - Well, it means that you have a workplace!
Did you have a quarrel with your wife/husband? - So, you have someone at home waiting for you...
And this could be continued...
What are the things that make you lucky?
So this should be your mantra for now:
I am lucky because I live, I can enjoy life and I can make others happy.
I am fortunate because I have a lot of things, what I have is just enough for me and I can share it with others.
So eat your pizza and enjoy life, passion, laughter and happiness - and live long, because life is wonderful!
