Big Apple

in foodphotography •  7 years ago

On our property are many very old apple trees. They are remnants of a failed apple orchard business venture from almost 100 years ago. Some of the trees could very well be nearing that age, and the fruit is usually pretty wormy but those old trees still produce beautiful apples. This day I lined the sun behind a close up of a big fat apple, and I like the effect. This shot was taken in 2016 with the Digimax 500.

Beautiful apple. Too bad the orchard failed. remember visiting many apple orchards when I was a child. Love going to pick the apples in the fall...

If the apples are too mealy, you could always try to make apple sauce :)

Or cider, or hard cider!

Go with the cider for sure. Or make the vinegar that stuff has a multitude of uses.
