Hallo Steemians!
Today I was in the supermarket and found these delicious strawberries, these juicy, sweet and extremely large strawberries come from a certain area in Austria, from the state Burgenland (meadows), there are huge strawberry fields, many people come every year from far and get these delicious fruits.
I cook strawberry jam for my family every year, Some strawberries are finely mixed and frozen, and then served in winter for some sweets.
But they taste best fresh, of course, but until then I have to wait a bit, then finally my garden strawberries are ripe and they are immediately nibbled.
I wash the strawberries, remove the stalk and cut it into small pieces, I like it when there are bits of fruit in the jam.
Then I cook them for a few minutes with some sugar and apple pectin, I fill them still hot in clean glasses with screw cap, cover the glasses with a cloth and let it cool overnight.
Wow, a big strawberry sheep has crept in there

I didn't like peanut butter before I was vegan, but now I love it. Also almond butter, although that one is way more expensive. I just had toast with peanut butter and fresh strawberies now........your strawberry jam made me craving that, lol.
