When was the last time you ate lomi? For me, I really can't remember when. .

Lomi is one of the many varieties of Filipino noodle dishes, it is made out of a very thick fresh egg noodles served in thick starchy gravy with crispy pork pieces, kikiam, chicharon (pork cracklings, a well-loved snack, popular pulutan or finger food to accompany with beer in the Philippines) and quail eggs. If you noticed, the dish were put into a "Banga" (clay pots made up of clays, in other words these are earthenware products). For me it is best served during rainy season. Put in some chili paste and calamansi to make it more flavorful.

I considered it as a comfort food to the fact that it has a pleasing taste, it's enjoyable to eat specially when we eat with our family and friends. It was so satisfying and it gives a sense of contentment😊😊
