I don't know what about you guys, but I'm starting to feel like I'm doing a historical lecture of foods around the world that starts at Cheese... Well cheese was  invented the very first time by the Arabian silk road merchant, you should look that up, but this time... I decided to another comfort food.. But you can hear a ring that we're going into the fast food lane..

I Choose French Fries!

Like what do we know about French Fries? I mean the name it self are French so its gotta be from French! Well today I choose this one over other French dishes, That most us don't know

But is it really from french? yeah no, it was from Belgium! So here's the brief story,  back when in a late 1600s where Historians were actually claimed that was the time where potatoes started being fried. Well going deeper, into the local Belgian lore, it is poor villagers living in Meuse Valley often fried fish they caught in the river. Well like poverty doesn't hard enough, during the peak of daily struggle, which is winter, the fish that they caught is turned frozen over, like in the spot man, making fishing is impossible during that season, forcing villagers to find other sources of food. 

The villagers turned to root plants, which is the potato, then slicing it then goes into the fryer, like pretty much the same way they prepared the fish, Fish N Chips :D but this one are for later lol. And just like that, the very earliest Alpha French fries were born. It's very oily eww, I tried to make it from scratch its very difficult haha. Times goes fast forward to where the first World War took, of course.. America takes in this history haha, its were the soldiers of U.S. stationed in Belgium that then Belgium introduced French fries, Like how then the French fries got its name? the Belgium was the guy, the Belgium official language are French, then the soldiers nicknamed this delicious fried potatoes French Fries.
