Hello everyone, it's my first time posting on food steem, first let me introduce myself, I am Gloria Nk. From Nigeria. And I will be sharing with you guys a recipe on how to prepare a Nigerian delicacy Egusi (Melon) soup. Here are the ingredients needed
4cups of melon
Palm oil
Red ball pepper
Grinded crayfish
Pumpkin leaf
2stock cubes
Salt to taste
Ogiri okpei(optional)
Beef, stockfish.
First you boil your meat add seasoning to it and salt to taste, allow your meat to get cooked properly, after that you bring down, put a clean pot on fire add your red oil, that's the palm oil, you add your grinded melon, fry for sometime then you add your meat stock and stir add pepper Crayfish and pumpkin leaf.taste it if the salt in it is OK. Then you bring it down. It can be served with any swallow. Eba, semo,or pando yam. Why not give it a try. I bet you will love it
