Premier League (England):
Depending upon experience, a premier league earns a season retainer between £38,500 - £42,000. Also, each referee is paid £1,150 for each match he officiates.
Assistant Referees (part time) earn £475 per match
Altogether, a Premier League referee can earn up to £70,000 (N31.5 million) or more per season.
Retired English referee, Howard Webb, reportedly earned £120,000 during the course of the 2013/14 English domestic season.
FIFA World Cup: FIFA World Cup referees are paid a lump sum of $50,000 for the entire tournament, even if a referee officiates only one match.
Considering the stressfulness and importance of the referee's job I expected them to be paid much more. We know that the footballing industry has enough money to pay them well...

Lol is that salary considered low or high, i don't know. Considering the amount of running they have to do.
World cup referees have it the best, 50k just for refereeing one match. Not bad at all.
